I'd be very interested in either set. However, having both sets currently built on my desk right now, I'm leaning towards the Master Falls set.
First, it has more different pieces that would appeal to castle and fantasy builders. The Atlantis set has more of each type, but less types, if you get what I'm saying. I feel that like if we drafted Atlantis, 3 or 4 people would get the best pieces first, and then the next get not as good pieces, whilst Master Falls has more diversity of pieces. On the other hand, Atlantis has more minifgs than Master Falls. Overall, though, I think Master Falls would make for a better draft. Just my 2 cents (or maybe a bit more).
Thanks Jordan. I am going to let the pool run until the 25th of August. At which point I will go with the set the majority choose.
If you are interested in joining please say so after this post and I will add your name to the list of participants. I would like to start ordering sets by September 1st. With possible start date around the 15th. Thanks ☺
We are tied for the sets as to who wats to do what. Just as a thought, I am also thinking about drafting both sets.
I have both sets and am looking at them in detail this weekend to look at Pat's counts. But I am thinking and leaning on doing 4 each. so total set cost would be $200. If we were able to get 8 people to sign up, buy in is $25. This would not include shipping. That's it for now ☺
Hey guys, I was waiting till today to finalize participation. I believe we are up to 8. I will be doing some work today to finalize where we are at. If I don't have you phone # I will send you a PM, so I can start a group text.
As to the set layout we have 3 masters bridge, and 6 Atlantis sets for a $25 buy in.
I will be sending a group text hopefully this evening ☺ thanks again for you patience. The fun is about to commence.
Will any of the parts be combined (gun [15391) with the trigger ) into a single lot If the same part is in both sets (Dark Bluish Gray Slope, Inverted 45 2 x 1 as one example) - will the lots be separated or combined? Any of the lots that should be split?
