For those still checking, there is a plan to bring LOR to a fitting close. The suggestion is that you bring your character to a point where they are able to participate in a final challenge, or if like me your character hasn't made an appearance in a while... 4 years! eek!) then post a build bringing us up to speed as to what they've been up to.
The solitary traveller navigated the mountain paths with care and caution. These pathways were prone not only to landslides but were also home to bandits. These attacks had become more prevalent as Garheim and larger parts of Roawia had became more lawless after many of it's former leaders had sailed to the new lands in hope of riches, and the old leaders had faded into obscurity. There were even rumours of a secret Areani plot to control the country.
As the traveller rounded a corner a surly looking bandit stepped out from behind a rock. "Well what do we av ere then?" he growled. The traveller remained silent. "No-one passes thru ere wivout payin the road tax" the bandit said with a grin. The traveller saw another bandit step out of another hidey-hole, and could sense a third robber behind a shrub to his right. There were two ways this could go, and both ended up with him continuing his journey down the mountain.
"Roawia may not be what it once was, but I am more than I was previously" the traveller said mysteriously. "Eh?" the bandits were baffled. But raised their weapons and made a move towards the traveller regardlessly. It was the last move they would make, today at least.
Swiftly and deftly the traveller took his staff and incapacitated his attackers, shook the dust off his cloak and continued his journey down the thawing mountain path. Jaykob Tannerson was coming in from the cold.
It's been 4 years since I built anything for my character in The Lands of Roawia... so thought it was time I brought him in from the cold. Previous episode here!flic.kr/p/phFMbe
