I'm alive! So, I have not even touched LEGO since I got home from BFVA. I am just now uploading my loot pics. Gary graciously took some fantastic photos, the likes of which I will upload here. I have over 50 photos I have uploaded to my photo stream on FLICKR. Please check them out and look through each one, it's the least all of these fantastic builders deserve. I am not going to post all the pictures (for obvious reasons), but will post the most noteworthy.
Anyone knows, that the great Mark of Falworth could have singlehandedly slaughtered all the invaders. Unfortunately (and despite his very bold objections), his lovely betrothed, "Grinchelda the Beauty" has other things in mind. She is taking her love far away to the closest chapel, in the hopes of Brother Steven solemnizing the marriage. Looks like Mark's newest quest is run as far away from Grinchelda as possible.
The Garhims have absolutely zero desire to be right here. They were just chilling in their embassy with cigars and poker, and all of sudden they are surrounded by thousands of people ready to kill them! That will teach the beardies to set up embassies everywhere they go!
Check out all this fantastic loot! This is some of the highlights I was able to score. This doesn't factor in the parts of the 5 parts drafts I was in (3 of which I helped host), but still, these are some fun things. Yes, that is 14 Rohan soldiers. Envy me.
Finally, as fun as all this is, what with the awesome build, great loot, and fun easter eggs, understand Brickfair is not about any of those things. Brickfair is about these guys right here. This is what makes Brickfair. The camaderie and friendships are far better than any loot or builds. I'm sure they would all agree. Can't wait to see you all next year.
From left to right: Spencer (button up, skinny jeans, Mark of Falworth wannabe) aka Lord Mercat Nick (black shirt, glasses, RPG nerd like me, Loreesi traitor now Garhim) aka nightstalker Gary (blue shirt, master builder, everyone envies him and his amazing historical armies, totally not jealous, history nut) aka Sir Caelan Munro Zack (gray shirt, GTA freak, owner of the drunkest sigfig in LoR) aka Zach Bean Devin (glasses, yellow shirt, wouldn't eat my pulled pork because he is a vegetarian or something like that, much more health conscious than me) aka Drakkvonlego Justin/Jordan (blue shirt, kneeling with glasses, 10 feet tall Goliath with dark blue in back how are these guys twins?) aka General JJ Daniel (olive shirt, Fabio hair that the women love, Supreme Troll overloard of LoR) aka High General Mythrog Hunter (8 feet tall too, black shirt, standing behind fat green shirt guy, has a freakish obsession with Brickarms, loser Loreesi loyalist) aka Hunter Erickson Sam (green Kentucky Wildcats shirt, super fat, big belly, unattractive, heartthrob, Head collaborator, has way too many minifigs) aka Schmidt Charlie (gray beanie, tied with Joshua and Daniel for having the 2nd coolest dad in the world (right behind my son Luke)) aka Eucalyptiz Joshua (also 20 feet tall, wielding the sword of a thousand nightmares, has a thicker beard than his father, lots of facial hair) aka Sir Haymar Glen
Whew!!! What fun guys! If you've never been to Brickfair, you need to come. More fun than my family vacation to Destin, FL (true story). I am now burnt out on castle and LEGO in general. I am going into a mini dark age (along with Gary), so you can expect to see me never again around the time of the next CCC. I have not unpacked a single LEGO thing other than my loot (I literally haven't finished sorting from BFVA '14) and my LEGO room is an absolute train wreck.
I bid thee farewell Merlins-beard! (I'll post more pictures later today)

Really great stuff. Thanks for the mini-bios in the group pic! Nice to put a non-ABS face to some of the names we all know and love around here except Schmidt - nobody loves someone who would lick another FOLs minifigs

it was a great interview, and I must say that kid with the beanie looks rather handsome.
You did a great job explaining things Sam. If you are in contact with them I'd suggest asking them to put the website and more info on the game in the video description, maybe get us some more attention.
