Name: Draklun Stlun Race: Human Gender: Male Faction: Garheim
Profile: Ever since he was a boy he was trained by the best knights possible but after Draklun's older brother left Garheim out of anger towards his father, presumably to the island of lost souls. His town was attacked and his father who was lord of the town went down with it. Draklun was alone with his mother for most of his life until his brother returned with a band of undead. The brother killed his own mother when he found it his father had already been killed and he couldn't do it himself. Draklun walked up to his brother with no fear and no anger to his brother who was now a dark lord. His fathers crown glimmered in the sun. "You are not my brother" He said "and you have never been my brother." Draklun swung his sword and fought off the undead that defended his brother and it was that day that his brother disappeared and hadn't returned. Draklun is now a lord of Fort Hilltop within the great Driftplains and a short horse ride to StormHaven. He spends his days among knights and militia in the fort that is a training facility for Garheim. He works hard and is emotionally and physically ready for war when the time come.
"For the Overseer!" He and everyone else in the room announces during the ceremony of a militia man becoming a knight. He has high hopes for Garheim and hopes to one day even be the Overseer of this land.

Name: Adimar Caleesei Gender: male Species: human Faction: Loreos
Adimar Caleesei (aka The Hammer of the Loreos) is the esteemed general of the loreesie redheads (heavily armored warriors with red helmets) currently in the Morastian veil. He is keeping a close eye on lenfald and is anxious for orders from the king to make a move. He is known for his skill in strategy, large two handed hammer, and fondness towards the drink. He had his hammer forged by the dwarves in Garhiem, it is made of a special steel alloy. Ok back to his life.... He had rough start, he started as a bastardized child left on the streets by an unknown family. He was taken in by a nobleman with the name of Raul Caleesei at age 10. This nobleman who was unable to bear children raised and schooled Adimar in tactics and weapons training. He became greatly skilled in hammer combat (hints the name) and won the title of general. General Caleesei started the redhead contingent in his early military years and now he is a seasoned warrior of age 34 and held in great respect by his men.
Readhead battlecry "for the red Dawn!"
Red dawn is a reference to loreos and its banner colors also a reference to how the sun reflects off of the blood at the end of a bloody battle.

Faction: Outlaws Character Name: Helaine Species: Dark Elf
Helaine has watched the Lands of Roawia from the shadows for some time now. She was born to a family of magic-wielding dark elves that live in seclusion from the rest of the world. Now that Helaine has reached adulthood, at the age of 53, she plans to travel and see what lies beyond her homeland.
Backstory: The nephew of a non-important Lenfeld Lord, Daren was born into a well respected but non-wealthy family. However, Daren was almost like a son to his uncle, the lord of the manor, who sponsored Daren's costs of knighthood, allowing Daren to have proper arms training.
Daren became skilled at longsword combat as well as using sword and shield. He was also a skilled horseman, and was quite handy with a lance. His uncle, who had already provided Daren's good quality weapons, provided Daren a suit of painstakingly maintained family armor that was adjusted to fit Daren like a glove.
Daren's knight training was not altogether normal, as Queen Galainir's forces occupied the land during part of this time and much of his training was done in secret. As a squire, he was thought too young and was stationed with the defensive forces at nearby Durrough, escaping the atrocities of the assault on Maldrake's fortress. By this time, his skills were already such that he was set training local recruits, and ended up leading his men in sorties against local bands of the queens soldiers who still prowled the countryside. Here he proved his worth as a caring leader who took care of his men. When the army returned home, he would often attach himself the veteran commanders, learning better tactics and strategies. Thus, upon his knighting he had experience, knowledge, and skill on the battlefield.
However, with the war over, the need for knights was not as bad as the need for soldiers, and Daren only found occupation in drilling men and leading patrols, nothing like what he had hoped for as a knight. He also was not of high enough rank to command his own force. As a noble, that is.
Daren sought out soldiers whom he had led or befriended, and organized a small mercenary force. While nothing in skill or numbers compared to the Emerald Wolves or other famous companies, Daren's group is tight knit and he continues to train them to work to their strengths while he seeks out work of noble value for the greater success of Lenfeld!
Note: I have been following LOR and several builder's storylines since last fall, but being at college I have not had access to my Legos, which were back home and in hopelessly unorganized disarray. However, I was (somewhat) productive this summer and manage my first actual complete build rather than just minifigure creation. So awesome to be joining!!

Backstory: Ember is the son of a influential leader during the Lenfald civil war. His father was a renowned archer and won many battles including defeating a entire patrol in the dark. This is where he gets the last name "shadowind". He was trained by his father as a ranger and now has skills that now match those of even the elves. Ember was fully educated by his father as he believed that people that know how to read and write will be very important in the times to come. Ember is a free spirit that can to some extent live among wolves and other animals without his hand being bitten of. He has a mind second to none and is a master at reading peoples lives and expressions (which can come in handy if some wants to stab you in the back). Ember has the rare ability to be able to blend in with nature and to traverse landscape easily. He would like to learn more about the world and would secretly like to understand magic. He has several siblings, A sister of the name of Arya who is of the same age of 16 (and has smashed Embers face on numerous occasions) and a brother of the name of Ronan who is 14. Ember has hopes to join the The Rangers of Lenfald and become a important figure in the times to come.
Last Edit: Nov 5, 2016 19:04:05 GMT -8 by Ember_: I felt that my first backstory would limit me to much and that I was not happy with my first one.
Colwyn was raised in a small fishing village. He and his family provided simple wooden craft for the townsfolk to use in their day to day lives, from axe handles to small boats, if it was needed, it was made. He aged and learned and eventually moves south to Lenfald to train as a bowyer's apprentice. After years of training he was deported following the emplacement of the King's tariffs. He settled in Dolchstadt and was forced to develop a small carpentry enterprise in order to provide an income.
Dare grew up in the far south as a member of the tribal warrior-class. She aged with her tribe and was drawn upon when the Queen called her banners. Her's, among other tribes, were sent north to pillage and subjugate the Garhim people. As the outlaw forces broke and were beaten out of Garheim, Dare remained. She chose to start a peaceful life in the border town of Dolchstadt as most of her tribe were slaughtered in the resurgence of the local forces.
Both Characters are now loyal to Garheim.
P.S. My girlfriend and I decided we wanted to get into this so we each will control one character, the male for myself and female for her. She didn't see herself having enough interest to do this on her own and neither did I so we decided to play together. Hope that isn't against the rules.
1. Due an imbalance in the numbers of active players, the mighty faction of Lenfald is closed for new members until further notice.
2. Furthermore, for a limited time, requests from existing players to be allowed to switch factions will be considered by the KC. As per above, Lenfald shall remained closed at this time for new members.
Requests for faction switching should be made via PM to myself or another member of the KC.
I will be taking advantage of the above open period to switch factions to Loreos with the purpose of helping address the current inbalance in active players across the factions. Will anyone else join me! Faction: Loreos Name: Xandar of Artinium
Backstory: Xandar Arathorn, heir of the modest fiefdom of Artinium. Artinium is a small town located in the centre of a large bay on the southern coast of Loreos. The town is located astride the fork of the trade road that runs from the city of Loreos Ultra into the mountains that border Outlaw territory, and a caravan route that runs deep into the Galaphona desert . Sitting as it does on a trade route, the settlement contains a rich mix of Loreesi cultures and the architecture and style of the town reflects this.
The Arathorn's have been Lords of Artinium for as long as anyone can remember. Xandar was a youth during Queen Galainir's occupation of Loreos. After his father was imprisoned by the Queens troops, Xandar fought with a mixed band of Roawians and travelled throughout the land campaigning against the queen. On the liberation of Loreos, his father was freed, however the long period of time in the Queen's dungeons left him in poor health. Thus on returning home, Xandar has taken up many of the day to day duties of the Lord of Artinium.
A true Loreesi noble, Xandar believes in honour and duty. He leads the fiefdom's company of Knights and dreams of restoring honour, justice and unity to both Loreos, and Roawia as a whole. He despises treachery and plotting and worries about the rumours of the influence of secret societies such as the Areani.
